Made it to Baltimore
Posted on December 1, 2005 | Filed Under celiac disease
I arrived in Baltimore safe and sound and a half an hour early. It’s so nice to use American Airlines when you need to travel, they are competent, friendly, and well organized.
Met some pleasant people on the planes, and I’ve always enjoyed visiting Baltimore because the city seems to have a very friendly and welcoming attitude.
All the excitement start tomorrow!

Hi Steve! I’m glad you started this blog and can’t wait to hear how the drug trial goes. I have 2 boys with CD (6 and 9 years old) as well as a mother in law with it.
Good Luck,
Michele
Hi Michele
I’m sorry to say that I was eliminated in the first round, but from what I heard and saw, I think that by the time your sons are adults or in their late teen years there is very likely to be a drug that will help with this disease.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment

I’m sorry to hear you didn’t get to participate in the study but thanks for all the info about the new drug. I hope in 6 to 8 years I will be used to the GF diet and not be tempted to take a pill anyway. But it is the American way after all - take a pill and do whatever you want to your body. At least that’s what drug companies hope we do. Thanks for posting about your experience.
